Plenty has been made of our business this summer (or lack of), but Doyle and Evans looked a class above yesterday. Looking forward to seeing Pritchard on Tuesday night hopefully.
Unless you’re going I don’t think you’ll get to mate. Not being shown anywhere.

Had another lurk on RTG and noticed a couple of posters claiming it’s a brand new ITK that’s came out of nowhere, if that’s the case it’s could possibly someone chatting ****/on a wind up

Rubberface, ( usually very good info) over there has come on and commented that the deal is very much on, but the Jebbison deal has gone.
Aye saw that. Be a shame about Jebbison, if the rumours are true and he was my player I’d rather he went on loan to an English team than European mind as it seems we play a certain way.

Seems its all about guarenteed game time and we don't play 2 up top.

I suppose there's 2 ways of looking at that. If you send the player to a lower league side, he would learn the rigmarols of playing week in/week out but if you send them abroad, they learn a new way of training and playing I suppose. After the likes of Sancho and Bellingham going to play in Europe, it'll probably the new in thing

Putting my two penneth worth in.

I'd rather we waited and got the players we want, that fit the system and have potential than anyone just because they play that position.

I'm not stressed we haven't signed two full backs yet and confident come the enw dof the window we will have the required players in, until then the current squad appear from reports to be capable of securing us points.

So we've been happy to leave the squad in its current state after the season gas started? I doubt very much kld and his team wanted that before preseason planning started
Its called trying to get the right players in rather than signing any old rubbish. The squad is already good enough to compete in this league, just need quality players in to fill the postions needed

Only if they are good enough. If the clubs loaning us players want guarantees about them starting every week or number of minutes then they can **** off imo. I wouldn't accept a deal where they were certain to get a minimum number of mins. Tbh, I wouldn't want that for our lads going out on loan either, it teaches them nothing - either about football or life in general. :emoticon-0148-yes:

I agree, if they were to go to a club on loan, they need to fight their way in through training during the week like the players already at the club. You could just imagine the **** show it would cause if it got out that they were guaranteed a starting place every week

We would go mental if someone was 'guaranteed' a game, it's just not the way it should be. Embleton was sent out on loan, grafted to get into the Blackpool team, did excellent and stayed in the side. Came back to SAFC a better player and (imo) will have a big part to play this season. Exactly what a loan is supposed to do.

Sounds like the people who are running the club might know what they are doing! :emoticon-0104-surpr

Now that is crazy talk <laugh>. We need to sign players, any players. Just get them in. **** players, average players, decent players OK players just get them signed, we are desperate......... apparently <cheers>.

I'll see how we shape up after the window and even then, it will be after 10 games to see how things pan out.
