Lumley when he replaced a red carded/injured Dieng towards the end of last season did very well, and Kelly was ok as back up I thought.
Lumley took a lot of stick when we had our bad start to last season and was blamed for everything and this affected his confidence. I think he needed to move and I will be interested to see how does up there.
To be fair, he cocked up a LOT. Of course, we don't need to be harsh or ridicule him but he was toxic at one point, and affected the confidence of the whole team. But, as mentioned by someone else here, he looked great when he stepped in for the injured Dieng more recently.
unfortunately, if a keeper cocks up it usually ends up in a goal conceded whereas an outfield player can sometimes get away with it. BUT its the start or the dawn of a new era - We have a very good squad for this season lets hope they can match our hopes and dreams
Beyond the Masterson story it's reported that Bettache being lined up for a loan move as well which brings the Chair story into question...

Not really because Warburton has been saying for a while that Bettache is one of the youngsters who needs League football experience before he is really ready for us. We could be lining up, or have lined up, potential replacements for Chair.
Wouldn't that just be QPR all over - sell Lumley and Kelly who would have been the short-term fill ins for Dieng, only for Dieng to go and for us to not really have a good enough back up! Hope the club are looking at who they might bring in if Dieng does go as surely the current backups are either not good enough or too young.
Will we sell to one of our rivals? If we have any ambition then it should only be to a Premier League side...
This is all about Arsenal wanting the Sheffield United goalie and as that will happen when he asks for a transfer there is speculation as to where a replacement might come from. Hence the link to Dieng. It’s just supposition.
That applies to Dieng, Chair, Dickie and any of our best players. Any such sales now the season has started before the window closes, probably will reduce our chances of a promotion which would win us funds far greater than we'll receive for any of our players now. On the other hand the Club may have good replacements lined up. As you say we don't know.
I don't get this Ramsdale thing......He's not even that good, been relegated in each of the last 2 seasons with Bournemouth and Sheff Utd........ It's just that Sheff threw stupid money at Bournemouth to sign him, stg£18m or something like that and they want to recoup some of it....... It's from The Sun and they just make up stories to fill the pages and their website......... probably no more than guesswork
