Not as toxic as that. It was a combination of joy to be back, freedom from covid rules and, of course, the inflated expectations of the summer signings. Probably a beer or (insert number) too!
Say what you like about Miiiiiilllllwall but that away support is consistently exceptional when they aren’t turning on each other. Has to help.
Thomas coming on for Johansen was like Alan Wilks replacing Rodney Marsh.
So did any of you have problems getting in... I did, we went in through the loft but I was given a paper ticket quickly from the box office there...so okay
But I heard Ellerslie road was chaos.
We missed Chair and McCallum alot.
Johansen was not 90 minutes fit, and we missed him alot when he went off.
Thomas does not impressed, he didn't when I saw him against Man United either.
But Dickie, Moses and Willock were outstanding.
Austin and Dykes were quiet and nonthreatening.
But boy did we miss Chair

Without Chair and Johansen, we have no creative threat. Neither Dykes nor Austin were ever in the game. Dickie was superb and MOM by a country mile.
Thomas, unfortunately isnt cut out for this level, from what ive seen of him anyway.
It’s not a great sign that we still aren’t sure what his position is or what he’s good at.
Great to be back in the Loft for a competitive game. Not much to add to the comments. I suspect Chairs absence was last minute because the shape of our team wasn’t right. Millwall useful but both teams seemed happy for a point after about 70 minutes.
If Warbles learns from this, and I think he will, we will be better
Did I say it’s great to be back? Less great to be on a packed train because of a stop at Wembley Stadium to pick up Leicester and Citeh fans going to Birmingham via High Wycombe for some reason. Couple of drinks with Mr Nines post match, most enjoyable, but screwed up my timing.

Did I say it’s great to be back? Less great to be on a packed train because of a stop at Wembley Stadium to pick up Leicester and Citeh fans going to Birmingham via High Wycombe for some reason. Couple of drinks with Mr Nines post match, most enjoyable, but screwed up my timing.

No issues getting in to upper loft. We seemed off the pace for 20mins and just feel with 2 up front we concede too much possession and territory in central midfield. Also somewhat restricts the ability of the wing backs to get forward which is the whole point of a 3-5-2. Charlie looked worryingly lethargic. Chair will provide a spark for sure. Think we put this one down to early season jitters. Warbs interview on the offish was spot on
Upon reflection, I'm happy with the point. Millwall have a side built for the Championship, height, physicality and a sense of urgency. It was difficult for us to get our game going against them. Chair was a miss but I still think we should've done better without him but never really got on the front foot. I think I said earlier in this thread how Millwall and Rowett would approach the game and it proved thus so.
Although the game wasn't as we hoped, it was good to see my old QPR friends in the pub and to meetup with my old mate sb_73. That's what it's all about for me. I'd hope to be doing the same even if we were non league.

Playing both Austin and Dykes was a big mistake in my opinion - neither got a look in. Against United we played 3-4-3 and this would have been a better option today, but I suppose losing Chair might have caused a late change of plans. I'm afraid Austin might be on his last legs.
It took us thirty minutes of queuing to get in Ellerslie Road today. Good atmosphere in X block though, and it was far more vocal than it ever was than being in the lower loft. I think the family stand needs to go. I didn't hear anything around me today that couldn't be heard from the lower loft.
