As a wingback i would like him to stay, purely as a defender it wouldnt bother me if he left, providing we get another in.

Well then he’s trained with Sunderland yesterday, done a medical today and he’s also got 90 minutes to lay for Spurs under 23’s this afternoon.
This is concerning. I mean it’s great if they’re doing it as a favour to us / him. But it points towards not being as advanced as FI say

Usually when a player is sold they don't play anywhere for risk of injury. This doesn't look good. Hoping he signs but would be first time this summer a signing was nailed on and then didn't happen.
