Still reserving judgment in terms of him being our main man, but Stewart is excellent in the air. Imeasurably better than Wyke was at getting nodded flick ons to our players. Promising at the very least.

We are giving them lots of problems down our right side, as much as they are down our left. Been a very open game, we need a RB and a LB but they've got fullbacks and we are giving them a hard time so an even game for me so far.

Good first half. Took us a while to get going but we've competed well. Best pass of the first half for me was Neil down to McGeady - absolutely brilliant!

Agreed. Dan Neil is no full back and it's obvious that Wigan are targeting him.

Think I would switch Neil and O9 as Luke is much better at defending.

Entertaining first half. If we keep this up we should win the game. We just need to watch them on the counter.

You've got to give the guy some credit - that's probably the first positive post he's ever written. It must've been extremely hard for him. Well done @Pablo you've made the first step keep it up! :emoticon-0105-wink:

The Wigan right back is a handful.

Evans looks a real captain, good choice from Johnson.

If you didn't know Wyke you wouldn't have noticed him ...

... although he does seem excited when McGeady gets the ball <laugh>

Exactly what I would do, it would make sense to make the change as they will probably bring Jones on second half to exploit the situation if it continues to be a problem.

I missed half of it due to bloody traffic. But happy with what I’ve seen so far.

I don't think McGeady looks fully fit, I would give him about 15 minutes 2nd half and tighten that left hand side up a bit

We also have Wright on the bench who could look after Wyke.

Flanagan is a better defender than Neil imo.
