Jonathon Creek was pretty ****ing good when I was a kid but ever since I've questioned this man's presence on TV.

I think it's likely a victim of it's time in that regard. A lot of utter **** was very watchable back then because the bar was low.
I loved Randall and Hopkirk deceased with Vic and Bob for ****'s sake. That wouldn't get past an elevator pitch in this day and age.
