Seems like good news on the way. We know he can slot in with the squad straight away and will be an asset as we develop a replacement for the future.
Seems the club has done well to get the deals sorted, but also to recreate a club that decent players want to be at and play for.
Well done to everyone at the club <applause>

I’m really excited about this season and reckon we could do really well. We have gone under the radar and the bookies are only interested in the relegated sides or the serial failures.
I was a bit of a critic of MW but he has built a decent squad with the ability to beat anyone in this division.
Up the R’s!

Could be worse...

But he was always going to be a fighting for a place with Dozzell, Amos, Thomas, Ball and now Johansen

I think Field was our 1st choice to play in front of the back 3 protecting them with his aerial ability and tackling, and he has good distribution out from the back.. With Cameron gone I can only see Ball as cover in that role unless we have a CB who can play there, or someone ready to step up from the U23's. I think the others you mention normally play further forward. I won't be surprised if we bring in a replacement if we can, possibly a loan.

I believe both Ball and Amos can play there in tandem with Johansen.

I slightly wonder about Dunne and Dozzell too.

If the news on Stefan Johansen is correct
I’m going to go out on a limb here…………………
We are going up, it’s that simple <cheers> <cheers> <cheers>
I hope that limb is a sturdy one!
I dare to say it but it looks our best shout at promotion in a long time. Those days of settling for 16th/17th are hopefully behind us.
