Sounds like they’re playing hardball on the business side and he’s playing hardball on the football side tonight to balance things. It sounds from what you and @Prehab26 are saying that there are players close but not financials agreed.
Those comments tonight seem the first sense of tension between LJ and KLD etc.

Also sensed from the quotes that KLD and Speakman don’t rate Wright and are keen to sell but he isn’t
Doesn't sound like any are close to being done mind. In fact sounds like the opposite.

Not sure if people know but KLD has said the club must be sustainable first. It's none negotiable. He won't though money at it at all. Not straight away. Most money has been in the infrastructure so far, behind the scenes money. He is very astute. I think we will get what we need/want but it won't be immediate as we won't be splashing the cash.
