By the time of our first home match (which I'll be attending) it will have been twenty two months since my last visit to the MKM, this was for health reasons. The club have had my membership money every single month since. They could have had it up front in full last year and this year, what sort of businessman would turn down guaranteed income?

A business that's budgets the way they obviously do and want the payments spread over the full year for that reason. I'm pretty sure if they wanted the payment in full then that would be the only option

I'd be interested to know how many paid up front the last time that option was available, I always did so. It'll also be interesting to see how many give notice of cancellation if we're struggling come November/December time.

I did (x2 passes)

I’ve been a member all through Covid well ever since stadium was opened. Anyone know how to claim my points in the club shop?

I think your final (bolded) point shows just why they won't and why it would be pointless to do it... No matter what he/they said, it just wouldn't be believed and would just cause more unrest and arguments between fans. So beat way to do it is just make the changes that people have asked for and move on. For the Allams this is a big step imo
They made a decision (no concessionaries) which was probably amongst the biggest own goals by a football club owner in the history of big own goals by football club owners. Eventually they realised what was immediately obvious to everyone else. At no point did they admit they ****ed up, They set up a ballot, which was always going to have one outcome. They can then tick the 'we have consulted with the riff raff' box.
We arent going to agree on this but It just doesn't work for me. And I aren't after them begging for forgiveness, I just want them to show some genuine conciliatory actions.

If there's a saving which is acceptable to me I like to pay for some things up front; gym, insurances, buy my mobile phone rather than a contract etc. Others I pay monthly because that's all that's offered; streaming services, SIM card, broadband. In this case there isnt an up front option, and I'm fine with it. The monthly sums are manageable, and I see that this suits the club's ongoing cashflow needs. The certainty of regular direct debits is so much easier to manage than annual renewal.

Direct debits aren't certain if they're cancelled, my payment in full would be certain. :emoticon-0100-smile
