I like how he says:

"The mentality of that group was difficult to deal with, the clubs I’d been at previously didn’t have that drinking culture, they done everything right - recovering right.

At Brighton Gus drilled it into the lads, he was happy for you to go out and have a drink - it was fine. But it was almost like he was fighting a losing battle (at Sunderland), because there was literally lads out every other night and you could see that in our performances.

We were terrible."

Followed by

"Every game we would get booed off.

I remember us playing Man City at home and it got to the 45th minute, it was 0-0 and we got booed off and it was just their mentality."

Could there possibly be a connection between the fans not being happy and by your own admission the players being a bunch of pissheads who were "terrible", Liam?

I thought that was the gist of his comments. Yes.

There’s some truth in what he says. Over the road are going mental.
Always thought Rodwell just needed a pre season. <laugh>
I wonder which club will take the next punt on Jack.

I was at that Man City game and our support was tremendous ...

... the referee was booed off at half time Liam you knacker.

"I wonder where he is now, was he another lad who had a different point of view?"

So you agree people should be entitled to a different point of view ...

... or perhaps you don't.
