Colombia have taken 3rd place in the Copa America, beating Peru in the playoff.

Respectable placing for them, given the dominance of Brazil and Argentina.
Shocking wall for Cuadrado's equaliser at 1-1, though. Keeper will be disappointed with the winner, too.

    Much Nicer.

Once again the indignation of the English when 'their' Scotland does not support them.

Pretty sure nobody was expecting Scotland to support England in any sport.

Nobody expects Scotland to support England. Taking a whole front page to cheer on Italy is pathetic though.

I support the British teams in cricket,Lions Rugby ,Olympics ect but do I support Irish,Scots,Welsh in football or Rugby union no, nor would I expect those nations to support us just the same as would I support Chelsea,Liverpool, Utd and City in club football
I think part of the current problem is the English have no parliament, national anthem and this leads to the current feelings of patriotism verses nationalism but to introduce them now would open up a whole new Hornets nest

I'm not sure why Scotland don't support England after everything we do for them. Ungrateful skirt wearing pansies.

That is just to sell news papers , same as in England we have to put up with the scum or fail openly ripping players like Sterling for having the gaul to buy their mother a house or having a tattoo but because he scored a goal against the Germans he is all over the front pages , it happens all the time if the national teams fail

The ability of MF and defenders to hold onto the ball and/or
pass accurately when under opposition pressure has long
been a fundamental failing of the England football regime
(more so if like me you consider such things to be basic
skills a player should possess) .

I am more terrified of the direct running game that Italy can play.
A joy to watch when Spain were on the receiving end, but not now.

Perhaps when an England football talent emerges whose surname is Bannockburn
(though with their luck one whose surname is Culloden will probably appear first) .

Spain played them off the park and showed how fragile the Italy defence is. Time after time they cut through them with ease with their quick passing and movement.

    1. England are no Spain.
    2. My terror would have been equal (perhaps worse) if Spain were the opponent.
