More I look at it, the more I think it was a pen. One Danish player clearly sticks a leg out and his knee makes contact with Sterling’s leg and then another shoved him over when he was already off-balance.

Like another posted said, when you’re dribbling the ball at speed and trying to wriggle between players, the slightest contact is enough to knock you off balance. Look at the Tour de France. A thin piece of cardboard was enough to knock a cyclist off balance because he was moving at speed. It’s just physics.

If that's true, it's a shame they didn't do anything about the constant throwing of plastic glasses onto the pitch, especially in Denmark's first game. Lots of other games had the same problem.
For all those debating the penalty, i thought it was for the 2nd challenge into his side, but very, very surprised play hadn't been stopped due to another ball on the pitch.

Anyway **** 'em let's go and win it.

Agreed. I think the second ball on the pitch is more controversial than the pen decision. Can Wembley not hire decent ball boys (and girls)?

Only the English can argue about whether it was a penalty or not. Other nations would wholeheartedly be behind their player that got the decision in their countries favour. For Christ sake, we were awarded a penalty, it was checked by VARS, what more do you want?
That’s because we aren’t like other nations
We don’t cheat wtf has happened to you lot
He dived
I don’t want to win anything by cheating

Ignoring the fact that it was penalty, I'd start Grealish in the final, purely to out-dive the Italians (who are second only to the Argentinians in the cheating league).

Laser pen gate...!!!

Now we know why the ref ran over to have a chat to the 4th official...Find the dipstick and chop his nuts off.
