Depends what we disagreed about. It would not be because of an opinion it could be about an insult or a connected thread. For example we will delete comments that are themselves inoffensive because they are quoting an offensive post that has been deleted.

You mean the gesture which England fans booed in matches against Austria and Romania for being kuLtyeRUl maRksisSUm last months, which the Prime Minister and Home Secretary did nothing about or even encouraged?
And if you think that the the "ItsComingHome" slogan (which has nothing whatsoever to do with winning, that's how bastardised Three Lions has become) isn't being co-opted by the Tories to distract the plebs from minor things like their being exposed to Covid and having their right to protest about government incompetence taken away from them, I have some bread and circuses to sell you
The Tories can use it as much as they want and how they want, I couldn't care less.
The majority of England fans however use "It's coming home" because it's from a song about football and it's become ingrained in our footballing culture.
When that final whistle went last night I'm pretty sure the majority of us weren't thinking about the Tories (or any party for that matter) and their policies when we were chanting "it's coming home".

Great to see and giving people good memories, I struggle to see anything bad about England being successful
The majority of England fans are bastardising the ever loving **** out of the song: the point of Three Lions is about how you never lose hope in spite of how bad things get, yet since the last World Cup it's mutated into some tubthumping dirge about England being the best footballing boys who will win everything. That last World Cup which, may I remind you, was in Russia, so how anyone could say "It's coming home" for a tournament that was anywhere but demonstrates just how much the point has been missed
Also, you proved my point entirely with that last paragraph about how the mob are being distracted, which is what the phrase bread and circuses means
I've proven nothing other than England fans are delighted with last night's result and that celebrating that win is purely down to loving the football team and country.

Did you hear the ****e they were saying on commentary last night, about how England "deserved" this after sixteen months of Covid, as if we're the only country in the world to endure a global pandemic or Italy had an easy time of it?

I did find some of the main commentator's comments to be a little crass, but they're not really relevant.
You expect some heavy bias in these sort of things and ITV are generally a bit ****.
Shouldn't distract from the manager or the team, who are getting on with it and doing their jobs.
Any sportswashing has nothing to do with the people involved in the tournament.

I see where @Spurf and @humanbeingincroydon are coming from but this is meant to be the pinnacle of a football fans career (for many it is). You may not feel the same affiliation but if it was spurs maybe you would have.
as for the tories politicising it, that's not on the england fans just as the extreme blm members aren't the view of standard BLM.

Yeah I think everyone’s grafting. Can’t fault any player’s commitment. It’s nice to have an England team you feel really do care, many of the primadonnas of the past have seemed too lackadaisical for my liking, this lot - to a man - I can get behind. I can cheer on Saka or Mount just as much as I do Kane.
And credit to Southgate for that, I’m not his biggest fan but I think he’s really worked on creating a great aura around the place and got the players believing and fighting for the cause.
Every political party will ride the wave of any widely popular cultural or sporting event. Wilson did it in '66. Blair did with The Ashes in 2005. If it poisons the fun for you, the ****ers have won.
Yeah you definitely expect the bias from the commentators. I don’t see why we shouldn’t celebrate this England team though just because Boris Johnson and Priti Patel have sent an aide out to buy an England shirt 30mins before the game. Sure they’re jumping on the bandwagon and that’s to be expected but the few people who don’t see it for what it is are already voting for them in any case.
It’s not like these England players are friends of the government anyway, Rashford in particular has been a big thorn in their sides and good on him for that.
I just enjoy slagging them off!

I think that's what annoys some people, though.
A lot of them spent the buildup for the tournament slagging off Rashford and kneeling, saying that they wouldn't support the team. Suddenly changed their minds!
They should stick to supporting West Ham... or Villa. Burnley? Someone in claret, I think.
