We haven't had one for years and he'll play most games, I agree.Make him captain
Stick Dan Neil in along side him and the league is oursFingers crossed. For the love of god if we do keep him then identify his position and play him there. We can't afford to start another season with an imbalanced squad and rely on gap plugging.
For what it's worth for me his best position is CM. I'm convinced that if we play him there alongside quality players he'll thrive.
Definitely not. Let’s sign a proper leader. O’Nien should be a squad player, not a captain playing most games.Make him captain
If we sign a better leader fair enough but I think O'Nien has it in him. His attitude on and off the pitch is spot on. He is a real grafter on the pitch and he can play as well. His range of passing is very good. He may not be a ranter and raver but I reckon leading by example can be more powerful.Definitely not. Let’s sign a proper leader. O’Nien should be a squad player, not a captain playing most games.
Those two together were a great partnership. They seemed to want to civer for each other and look after each other all the time. Their games really complemented each other too. O'Nien didnt look the same without Sanderson. If Sanderson came came back I too would have no issue with them pairing up again.O/9 and Sanderson were the best pairing in defence by a country mile last season, and between them they carried the makeshift full back /wing back combinations for weeks on end. Even so, I would like to see what O/9 can do in mid-field, but would not worry if he is paired up with Sanderson again. I think it all depends on who we get to replace those that have rightly been moved on, and how LJ sees it, those will be the big factors that make or break our season, not where O/9 plays imo.
I’d love to know what gives you that conclusion?Definitely not. Let’s sign a proper leader. O’Nien should be a squad player, not a captain playing most games.
