mate I saw plenty of yous lapping it up how we are ‘sat top of the group’, ‘still haven’t conceded’ after that shambolic performance against the Scots. To me that suggests masterclass, a plan executed to perfection so we remain at the top of the table.

I hope Saints might win a trophy every season. I'm intelligent enough to know it won't happen though. One trophy in over 130 years tells me that lol.

Find one person who said it was a masterclass and I'll change my title to 'Up the Spurs' til the end of the tournament.

Some people were just happy to see where we end up rather than losing their **** over one game.

I can understand looking logically at football but I could never do it 100% of the time.

It's an emotional sport and if it wasn't then I wouldn't be anywhere near as invested to it. Hopes and dreams are what makes the game fun imo, even when they're dashed the vast majority of the time if you support Saints/England lol.

Time and a place for both outlooks. Win this one and I'll be fully in the 'coming home' one and I'll be gutted when it doesn't.

I'm certainly gonna not get excited about a huge game just cos we might not win. Bollocks to that. What will be will be.

It’s the circle of being an England fan, you go from complete apathy, to euphoric raging hardons in the space of about 2 weeks then back to apathy after a knockout.
