I actually type a response but thought better of it, deleted and put that.

It's usually a good idea if you're not sure about something to go with humour, like you did. Unfortunately there are some topics that are increasingly becoming off limits. We can learn a lot from each other if we remain open. It's far more beneficial to talk about ideas than to shut them down.I actually type a response but thought better of it, deleted and put that.

). Then you get the wums or just plain ignorant folk. You posted a picture of a tshirt from Amazon.Ironically, the topic I opted out of is vastly (if not already) becoming one of those

I was looking at it in a similar way to any other example of trying to get around the rules in sport. The very idea of sports is to be sporting. Transgenderism in the general sense doesn't interest me very much. Although the older you get, the more you tend to have an opinion on everything.Equally, on a forum like this we don't really know much about each other. One could feel passionate about a topic, it may even be close to their heart because it's directly effects them in some way. Others won't have that link and perhaps don't care at all but like to have an opinion on everything (looking at you MITO). Then you get the wums or just plain ignorant folk.
I think an opinion on this subject but it doesn't effect my directly, nor do I care enough to have investigated it so you could put me in the 'ignorant' category I guess, hence me opting not to comment.
That's wrong, in my opinion.I was looking at it in a similar way to any other example of trying to get around the rules in sport. The very idea of sports is to be sporting. Fixed.

In the interest of equality just bin off women's sport altogether and allow them to play in men's teams and men's events.the nature of some sports is that you could send a man out then a woman and then whoever next and its no issue and have a ranking by 1 or 20 genders if you like.
10m diving, pole vault, weightlifting, high jumps, whatever.
If you want then do it that way.

Oh yes and allow whatever drugs athletes want to make it an even playing field. That sorts that issue out as well.
I should be in charge of all this, I'd have it sorted in a week.
That's why I'm replacing Roy Castle I'm inclusive.Surprised you're not more interested in this topic considering you've had a sex change![]()
All athletes want to win, that's their main driving force. Depending on the level, of course, there won't be many who are in it just to take part. But tbf, only a very small percentage are prepared to cheat. It's why there's uproar when a 'winner' has been found to be doping.reality shows that the reality of competitive sports is that winning is what matters - examples being
drug taking , "playing" the classification system in paraolympics , having a small electric motor on a bike in mountain biking .
