Dozzell looks like a good passer of the ball from the few clips I've seen, and hopefully a good replacement for Carroll.
Seems we’ve had our eyes on him for a while, so we expect reports show we can bring more from the lad. He knows he has a lot more to learn about his game, so hopefully he’s prepared to put in the work to get there. I’m sure his Dad will be keeping his feet in the ground and pushing him on.
Look forward to seeing him progress and make it.
Correct me if im wrong but i think he got 1 goal and zero assists. Still, playing with better players might just be what he needs.

QPR looking to sign left-back Cox

QPR are looking to complete a deal to sign left-back George Cox from Fortuna Sittard.
The Dutch club signed Cox, 23, from Brighton last year after he impressed during a season-long loan.
Now Rangers are looking to bring him back to England. He has two years remaining on his contract.
Manager Mark Warburton is keen to bring in a right-back and a left-back this summer, with Todd Kane facing the axe.
Clubs are aware of Kane’s availability but so far no offers have been received, with the reported £13M fee being a major stumbling block!
Moses Odubajo will be signed as Kane’s replacement if he proves his fitness during a pre-season trial.
Odubajo is a free agent after recently being released by Sheffield Wednesday at the end of his contract and has been invited to train with Rangers.
The 27-year-old has previously struggled with knee problems and made just 18 league appearances last season, the most recent of which was on 1 January.
But he is well known to Warburton, having played under him at Brentford.
QPR are still attempting to negotiate a deal to sign Stefan Johansen from Fulham.
That process was always likely to be protracted - and has been held up further by the expected departure of Fulham manager Scott Parker and likelihood that his replacement will want to assess the squad.
Rangers are also looking to sign a back-up keeper and allow Liam Kelly to leave.
Kelly is wanted by Motherwell, where he was on loan last season, and Dundee United.
The Scot has indicated that he does not want to return to west London to act as cover for first-choice keeper Seny Dieng.
Tom Carroll has left the club. He rejected the offer of a new deal and talks with the midfielder have ended

Home friendlies against Man U and Leicester arranged for 24th and 31st July...
Not worth its own thread but do we think there is any correlation between the quality of opposition in pre season friendlies and how well we might do in the coming season?
I have an impression that when we were signing the likes of that kid from Yeovil then we had pre season friendlies with Luton or some such team.
We're playing Leicester on 31.7.21. I'm sort of assuming Leicester will want half decent opposition and have eyed what Warbs is doing and endorsed it by agreeing the friendly.

Its nice to think games against Leicester and Man Utd are recognition for our successful second half of the season, but I think they have more to do with the covid travel ban scuppering all those lucrative pre-season tours the premier league teams love so.
Have to say I'm liking the way we've gone about our business this year, nothing frustrates me more than not getting players in until mid/late August so completely missing the pre-season & getting to understand the team, tactics & expectations etc in advance of season start.
Yes, but let's hope we don"t lose the likes of Dykes, Willock, Barbet, Dickie and Dieng in the last days of August and struggle to replace them last minute before the window closes.
