Apologies. Memory is shotHe made his full international debut in a friendly against Hungary on 11 August 2010, coming on as a half time substitute and was involved in a controversy over Hungary's goal.[58] After making a mistake in the build-up, he got back to clear the ball off the line – a goal was given, however replays suggested the ball had actually not crossed the line.[59]
On 3 September 2010, Dawson made his first competitive start for England in the UEFA Euro 2012 qualifying match against Bulgaria. He sustained a knee injury and left the field on a stretcher after 56 minutes.[60]

We'll have to play a 'fly' goalkeeper / one hand one bounce etc..Nah. May as well include me if we’re going to be that lax
I played for an England 11 v a Brazil 11 in a tournament abroad once.
I scored a cracking goal, which was disallowed. If it had been allowed it would have pulled us back to 8-1 down
I had been ‘selected’ in a nightclub about 4 hours earlier, whereas those little ****ers looked, and ran, like they’d never had a drink or a late night in their lives!
That’s who I was thinking of & I came up with Peter Daniel.Peter Barnes
Paul Robinson from Beverley really should have played for us.Tricky, i think Iain Hesford played U21 otherwise can we claim Joe Corrigan
So did Steve McClareni watched city for more than 20 years and i reckon brian marwood was the best player i saw in city colours. he had about 8 minutes as an international, so i'd include him.
peter taylor managed england.
https://www.oncloudseven.com/491-les-green/i was just checking the career of goalkeeper les green, who played four games for us. i was under the impression he'd joined derby from here, but that wasn't the case.
he returned to non-league football after a couple of seasons here, playing for nuneaton borough for around three season. he then left, in 1965, to join burton albion, then managed by cloughie's mate peter taylor (a former goalkeeper). both left burton a few months later to join brian clough at hartlepool. all three left in 1967, with clough and taylor going to derby and green going to rochdale, but only for a season, before joining clough and taylor at derby. derby won the second division that season. green left derby in 1971 and joined durban city in south africa. derby promptly won the league. but durban city also won their league.
but green didn't play for england.
clough's son went on to manage burton and derby and burton again.
