Would it not be better for the BBC licence fee payer just to pay for Eddie's arse to be shipped to every event? So far as I can make out, the rest of his body is useless as all the noise comes out of his rear end?
good evening ernie should be a fascinating race tomorrow , would seem mclaren have the quickest car at korea as ( i believe) they have had for the last few races , there should be no excuse for hamilton tomorrow , if he cannot beat vettel and button tomorrow i believe his street cred will take a serious hit when comparisons with vettel are made - got a funny feeling hamiltons tactical naivity and tyre management skills may come back to haunt him tomorrow - of course if i am wrong you are more than welcome to call me a pram handle tomorrow night --
It appears to have a mind of its own and ability to breathe so I'm sure it will be a self-sufficent life form.
I'll happily have a discussion with you if we're able to rationally and diplomatically address the points. Look at it this way... If I attacked Vettel in the same manner as you do Hamilton, you wouldn't be happy about it. It's easy to throw out negativity, to make assumptions do jump to conclusions but the truth is that none (at least I think none) of us know these people personally... we don't know how they operate, how they are as human beings yet is seems reasonable to cast such damning claims about them. I know you're not a Hamilton fan, and I can respect that. I don't expect everybody to be his fan and in many respects I can see why people aren't, given some fans and all the press he received in his first 2 years... But as a Hamilton fan I would like to be able to discuss him without the crazy fan boy attitude and without the opposite end of the spectrum that damns him no matter what. Shake hands... move on?
Starting from pole... it's his race to lose really, and if he did somehow botch it, I dread to think what his reaction will be. I'm really hoping he wins... Vettel, Button and Alonso all seem quite content right now and it would be nice for Hamilton to find his happy place so that we might get another titanic 4-way title fight again next year.
I really dont think that Hamilton has a serious problem, a tad loss of confidence maybe but that's all, he just needs to do what he did when he first came into F1, drive the ****ing ass off the car, some you win some you lose. I've never ever seen anyone with such car control skills, in over 45 years of following F1, his mental control maybe he's a tad suspect, but what mid twenties guy isn't when under pressure. Me I'm 65 and still get pissed when I get overtaken which aint very often, been up to Carlisle via the M6 on my bike with the Missus last night and back today just for the hell of it and nobody got past me.
Bahahahahaha... Don't hate me, but I just saw Olive and Stan from on the buses but doing about 90... You're right about there not being a serious problem though... You don't just lose skill like that overnight, but he has lost form and confidence and he somehow needs that back. I just hope that what's happening in his life now doesn't lead to some bad decisions. I want to see the circa '07 Lewis attitude back.
Ernie- I told you to take care mate - flowers for a funeral are damn expensive. Did the Missus whisper sweet nothings in your ear? (like 'for Christs sake slow down Ernie - I'm getting a dreadful wind up me knickers!)
Hamiltons problem is simple, he can outdrive virtually any hardware by some margin, his spectactular style does as you suggest, compromise the longevity of things like tyres, possibly brakes, but that does not detract from his capability, it only means the kit is not up to the job, why the **** have we got mickey mouse tyres that simply won't stand the pace that the best drivers can subject them too. I would never call anyone a pram handle
