Both Robert Jenrick and Gavin Williamson have spoken out about the Oxford students' decision to remove the portrait. Utterly irrelevant of course, but it takes attention away from the government's paltry education catch-up funding and fires up their gammon base. Look over there!

Yeah I get why politicians would be all over these things but do the good folk of Brexitshire who we’re routinely told don’t give a **** about things like their money being used to pay to make Matt Hancock’s barman richer care about whose picture is on the wall of the Magdalen College common room?

Inasmuch as they are led by right-wing media and populist politicians, yes.

I don't have a problem with a black Anne Boleyn if the actress convinces viewers. Simply, that the same people that insisted on it are the ones that scream "cultural appropriation" when a kid pulls on a red indian outfit.

Spot on. The same people that cry if someone darkens themselves up to play a character or a musical instrument that has to be played by someone who can actually play. As for Anne Boelyn .. she wasn't very good anyway. just this weeks colour orange.

Johnson either lied about what was in his Brexit agreement, or never read it. Probably both as he was obviously shown the relevant bits at some point. He was only concerned with getting it done. His own Brexit Secretary Barclay confirmed this was in the Brexit agreement, but appeared to be silenced soon after.

Yeah but it should be just ignored because of the person who posted the video.

Nah thats actually Johnson speaking and either not having a clue what hes on about, not giving a **** or lying. Did you fall for it when he said it Ellers? No shame if so mate. Many did.
There is not point keep keep going on about the NI protocol when you only look through you EU/anti Boris glasses Bob.
Bob I have said before you try and make out that you were somehow neutral but the mask fell a long time ago.
The EU used Ireland as a pawn and it's just a way to try and cause problems.
Do I think they were wrong to sign it... Yes and I remember saying at the time they would use NI/border against us.
It's quite simple to use trust a trader which is done on line without all this crap. But sadly the EU want to cause problems with paperwork and red tape. The more the act like this the more they prove to me that they are tw2ts and I am so glad we are out of that club.

France has officially surrendered and started collaborating with the man with the weak slap. They are waiting for the UK to intervene so they can claim victory.

To be fair to Johnson, he was pissed when he said that. He clarifies the position in a later speech.
