The Amish do not drink or smoke. They are a lot fitter than the general population. If the virus had remained unchecked we would have faced a situation like India now. Countries all over the world are overwhelmed and their medical facilities can not cope. This virus is not like a common flu it's far stronger.As for saving the nhs have a word with the doctors and nurses first and get the truth from them.
 
I am under quarantine rules but there is nothing wring with me. Yes i went on holiday but on a plane half full and with people who had been tested or vaccinated. Except of course for the kids. So that is a flawed arrangement to start with. Test before i went and one in resort to be able to fly back. Then another on day 2 and one yesterday on day 8.when that comes back negative i still have to stop in until midnight on day 10..why?. The govt want us to have vaccines but punish us when we do. Yet pubs are open and crammed with people.
I do not agree with everything this govt are doing or think they are fair. As for the indian variant well we all know who brought that into their towns and religious communities. So let them sort that out and let the country get back to normal. Ok massive crowds at sporting events and nightclubs are not allowed but crowded streets and beaches are. So i am not a govt lover but equally dread to think about the alternative. I have had my two jabs but that is normal for me since being a child. We were brought up to have whatever jab was avaliable. The general population in this country is overweight and unfit. If the virus was left unchecked it would have taken the majority of them out. Thus going down the Hitler route of natural selection.
The problem with the U.K. is we are crammed on a small island with a population 24 million or so bigger than Spain.

If I get inundated with adverts for Haemorrhoid Cream I have a far better idea of where they originated from! Forces mates still not talking to me after sharing your Lizzie GIF's with them after Big Phil turned his toes up - you are a bad man Michael.

While it is only me you and Wakey here, I can share some good news with you - Ben passed his driving test yesterday and is absolutely over the moon, was dreading him having to wait 8 months for a re-test :emoticon-0148-yes:

It's not disruption just natural progression it will be good for him. I wish i had the benefit at his age of the vast knowledge Olof and myself can implant in his cranium.
