I know that alot on here and across the road messaged me in the summer when the Mrs has a miscarriage, I really appreciated the comments I received.

Good news now. The Mrs is 14 weeks pregnant and all is good. Not my normal type post but thought it was apt given the amount of feedback I got last time.
Get in, superb news.

Missed your original post last year Prehab. We had an early miscarriage (9 weeks) after our first child. We have had 2 girls since. Good luck to you and the good wife. Human nature will make each antenatal appointment a worry but no reason why things wont be all good. The fact that you continued to provide us all with updates on the takeover etc is a credit to you.

Brilliant news, all the best to you all for the future. :emoticon-0165-muscl Hope everything goes well.

FWIW.... Siilly me got bollock cancer aged 18 and needed a tad of chemotherapy. So when I got with our lass a few years later it turns out that assistance is required. First cycle of IVF didn't work then a miscarriage after the second so it was all on the last one. Luckily it worked but the little fella was born with a heart condition (called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome). He had open heart surgery at the Freeman aged 6 days old. Second open heart surgery aged 6 months then third when he turned 2 years old. Hence my username (it's nowt to do with Elvis Costello)

Wouldn't change him for the world. Amazing little fella.

And he has now got a little sister who was conceived naturally so the docs aren't always right. :emoticon-0104-surpr:emoticon-0137-clapp

Yes lad. What a strong family you have. Appreciate that. Next Safc match, I would like to buy you tickets and or some beers to the game. If that would be acceptable? Seems only right. .

Thanks for sharing mate.

Congratulations mate im really happy for you and fully understand what youve been through..
Me and my ex experienced 3 miscarriages. She became really depressed so we went for ivf. I now have 2 beautiful twin boys to show for it..

At 18 weeks they were diagnosed with twin to twin transfusion. We got told at our local hospital we had 20 hours to get to London for emergency Laser surgery or we'd lose them and even after that the survival chances for my lads was 33%. We went home in shock, booked a flight to Heathrow had the surgery and then had 4 agonising weeks to see if it worked or not...

Congratulations to you both.

Been through that. It was the most helpless and most useless I've ever felt.

All through the next pregnancy I was bricking it too, but everything turned out alright. Even now, with that bairn now19 yrs old the mrs still gets upset about the loss of her first.

Hope this covid **** doesn’t mess up the antenatal appointments, etc, for you.
