You need a special charge point for fast charging .

It was the reeled extension that concerned me, because if it's not fully uncoiled, I wondered if it acted like a heating element and started to warm up, if it's the incorrect thickness of core. Not that I know but just the logic going through my brain lol.

I do agree with what the article says, that it will happen quicker than we think, now we have decided to go that path as a nation.

I think the government or even local authorities will gradually bring in new measures, that will encourage the transition. That being, like City or Town centres at a weekend, exclusion zones for petrol vehicles, but electric vehicles being allowed, that is already happening in other countries.

So even if a petrol head refuses to give up their old faithful car, they will find the places they can drive it, becoming more and more limited. In the same way the congestion charge system is used to reduce the number of cars travelling in.

I think if it makes the air cleaner and the environment we live in better, then I'm all for it. It really don't matter what other countries or the rest of the world does, we can only be responsible for our own little island and anything that takes a few cars off the road can only be a good thing.

The main thing I want to see is our attitudes to public transport change, and to do that, it needs a major overhaul, so government has it's part to play too, to often it's yapping and flapping and never any real energy or investment towards it, that has to and must change. with regular realiable services and cheap to travel.

Do I think I will invest in a new electric car, I can't really see it, but that's more to do with my age and that driving has become more a chore than an enjoyment now. We'll see.

No Covid deaths today with a positive test in the recording time(28 days)

now I wonder if that’s to do with the vaccine rollout or all old people are dead. If true my Saturday morning shop should see nobody who is retired and can shop anytime at the supermarket yeah, selfish ****s.

Yes but actually the death rate in the early stages was higher* than the 28 day figure as they were barely testing anyone who wasn't in hospital .

* This is shown in the figures on death certs and excess deaths figures.

OK just got a bit disturbing now, as they show parents poured bleach into their kids to get rid of autism and now Covid thanks to the advice of some utter nutjob in the U.S.

Well that was interesting. I always thought these people were just deranged nutjobs, I wasn't expecting to find they are part of (and leading) a whole industry dedicated to spreading fear in order to fleece millions in what is a very profitable modern day snake oil business.

Andrew Wakefield, Larry Cook, Del Bigtree, Robert F Kennedy (no not that one) and Sherri Tenpenny. Complete ****s and dangerous with it <ok>
