So you’re moving one of the most creative players in the league into the captains position, a position much more crowded with less time in the ball, a position he hasn’t played before. You just dropping henderson and playing who at RB exactly?

It's mito at his creative best. I'm with you on this. Trent is one of the best in his position in the world. Why change.

I've said about Trent moving to midfield in the past but agree that it won't happen yet. Only two ways I see it happening; Klopp leaves (as you suggest) or we get the opportunity to buy a top quality RB.

I think it would require a change of tactics, if a manager came in that wanted a more solid back four but more expressive midfield the trent could move.

Otherwise who could we possibly bring in that is better going forward from the position than trent?

Neve got the obsession with wanting trent in midfield tbh.

Best RB in the world, iconic number 66. Future club captain. Kid Could be the scouse Dani Alves by the time he hangs up his boots. Or better maybe.

Oh I just thought we were being pedantic.

Bale was a left back who moved up and can play across the front.

Maybe thats what lies in store for trent who knows.

What we do know is that he's fukin boss as a RB coming forward and until we have someone who's better there why even entertain the notion of him moving forward, imo he doesn't need to, much like Beckham never ran down the wing like Giggs or had to beat his man much. His foot done all the work for him.
