Just came back from Stag weekend, bit worse for wear..come on to this and I see.................same **** different day against the only manager to keep us in 2nd tier of English football in 40 years.....boring...but predictable..... Oh and Jiffie slating those that don't watch every minute of every game having an opinion......
I am guilty , I forgot that one, he couldn't get us up, he tried for 4.5 years, forget 40 years, he had more financial backing than any manager had in our history, since 1897, 123 years and still failed, boring but the absolute truth.
Having an opinion about the quality of players they have not watched? you don't think that's bizarre? The difference between us is I have always been happy to acknowledge the 'achievements' of LJ that you refer to (achievements peculiar to our team but an achievement none the less) but you fail to acknowledge that he left us with a poor quality squad just like he inherited at Sunderland apparently.
I picked up everyone’s recycling bins in the close today. I drove them to Scotland and back in my car that’s done 250k in last week alone and then I went and left the bins in Scotland when I filled up. By the way it was only 3p a litre there but I digress. So I had to fly back up this afternoon to pick the bins up. How we all laughed when I got back anyways. When I was on my paper round in the 80’s it rained one day. Got to go now otherwise I would of rambled on some more, but I’ve got to drive the space shuttle tonight so my friends can have a pint on the moon.
Not bizarre if you might be referring to me, as I've watched approx 70% of games and taken in most of the players abilities.....My opinion counts as much as anyone's IMO!! I agree, I think there were/are players of poor quality, but not all and I also acknowledge that players were sold under his reign were not replaced, like for like.. I doubt that NP, will have such problems if he's managing to take full control......IMO is an advantage to begin with.. not shared by our previous couple of managers..
Hey ROD our green bin went missing, did you collect it?......can you get back for Monday without getting wet?
you really do need to take stock of your mental health, they do say covid has strange effects on some, even to the point that you may hallucinate, to compensate maybe your way of combatting it is take a few extra tabs.... .. it does seem when you are wrong or attempt to be funny you go off on a different track .. or just ignore it. Enjoy your trip to the moon … [ wrong again there though, shuttle wont get you there, but good you will try it! ...oh and look out for the cow!
My mate jumped out and pushed us the rest of the way, but there was more than 6 of us and we didn’t book so we had to come back.
I had sausages from M&S for my tea. Do you know what? I never liked ***gots but I never told my mum I just eat them and was grateful. I also smoked number 6 but I didn’t tell my mum that either Any way I always find the atmosphere in the pub on the moon very tenuous.
11 players out of 13 already gone and the 2 others still not having re signed yet and I am expecting a minimum of 2 in contract players to be offloaded if the right deals can be achieved, that is not evidence of a decent squad. You are correct about not replacing players like for like, but I refer you back to the fact that with all of the mounting evidence of how the playing side of the club was being run by SL and his favourite son Mark Ashton, LJ still chose to sign a new 4 year contract in May 2019, so any disadvantage to LJ or Holden was self inflicted and almost certainly explains the cynical season ticket sales boosting lie about a 'proven' manager being employed after LJ was sacked, Ashton always wanted another patsy and we got one.
Only about 2 or 3 from that 11 I would have kept, fair few of those hardly made many appearances.....I imagine a lot of clubs will go through the same sort of clear out..You seem to think we are the only club, but I can assure you, we are not unique!! Why would LJ not have signed a 4 year contract? Young manager with such opportunity....nothing odd or strange about that...just a shame the backroom staff didn't support him properly.......It's how I see what the difference is between a manager (NP) and a coach (LJ)....
Why would he have signed if he was unhappy with the way the club was being run? which means he must have been happy, so self inflicted, if you are inferring that he signed for the money that says as much about him as it does the running of the club. Onfer's LJ excuse number 101, it was the backroom staff's fault guv.
