Could be interpreted that way mate ... but we were on top and bossing midfield with Ndidi and Tielemans as we went 1-0 up ... then lost Fofana to injury and had to drop Ndidi into the back 4 ... finished a second season without 3 of the first choice defenders plus lost Harvey Barnes at a crucial time ...
Still ... more points than last season, Europe again and winning the FA Cup ... as Munse said at the start of the season.. everyone had worked us out
Happy enough with the season as a whole ... witnessed a second trophy I was beginning to think we wouldn't win in my lifetime ... looking forward to next season and hopefully progressing yet again
Another way of looking at it is:
1. You were 2-1 up with 14 minutes to go then imploded, conceding 3 goals to the worst spurs side for 20 years.
2. Spurs had not won an away game against a current top 10 side since October 2020 so you should of won.
3. We are dogshit bad, so you should have won.
4. We had only won 4 matches against the current top 10 ALL SEASON so you should have won.
5. We started Winks, Sanchez and Doherty so you should have slaughtered us.
6. We had not beaten a team placed above us at kick off ALL SEASON so you should have won.
7. In the previous 23 matches against clubs who finished in the top 12 we had only got a total of 20 points so you should have won.
8. We are ****ing awful so you should have won.
9. Since October we have only won 4 away games, three were against the relegated teams and the other was against an injury ravished Villa team so you should have won.
10. We gave you the lead twice so should have won.
11. You had a 10 point lead over 5th place just 10 games ago so losing today should have made no difference.
Conclusion...you bottled top 4 from a really safe position for the 2nd year running...on the final day...but this time to a ****ing awful team
