What a game it’s been! No VAR, no lines on the screen, no delayed celebrations. Just proper football. Best game I’ve seen in ages
Mepham costing Bournemouth against the team he left to join Bournemouth a couple years back. Great double agenting there.
Can't blame any Spurs players for that one: CCV got the assist for the goal that put Bournemouth 2-0 up on aggregate with an away goal while Adam Smith didn't do anything wrong (although got hooked for another forward with ten minutes to go), but the rest of the back line conspired to concede a penalty from a handball or get a straight red after grabbing somebody around the ankles after a first touch that would make Ali Dia blush
St Johnstone win the Scottish Cup, adding to the Scottish League Cup which they won earlier in the season. They did have Kane and Rooney in the team, to be fair. Only club in the UK with a J in their name too, somewhat unbelievably.
I'm sure I've seen the tactics Lincoln are deploying a couple of dozen times this season I'm also sure that I've seen it work out as well as it's currently going over a dozen times this season...
Knocked him out at Ibrox in the quarter-final. Finished 5th, played 51 games, won two cups and didn't have a single player hit double figures in goals.
Wonderful to see other clubs up there win things other than Celtic or Rangers. I used to be a Third Lanark follower until.......oh well!
As free transfers go, Luis Suarez now at 34 years of age and scoring 20 league goals including the one that just won Atleti La Liga, has to be well up there. Took a small dig at Barca by saying they underestimated him and is grateful for Atleti for believing in him. Trippier getting one over on another former Spur - Modric - who actually scored for Real in the 92nd minute which would've won them La Liga had Atleti not won against Valladolid. Lol, **** you Real.
Luckily for Perez, he has the ESL to fall back on which consists of Los Ladrones, Barca, and Juve ...no, wait, I'm going to guess Juve don't want to be expelled from Serie A for the second time in twenty years
Interesting interview by Gary Neville (he is seriously manoeuvring himself into the Oprah for football, isn't he?) with SAF on SportBible. First half of the interview is almost entirely about Spurs players... "Who do you wish you'd managed?" Gazza but he went to Spurs instead. "Who from the current game would you love to manage?" I thought Dele Alli would be a top player but I was wrong, not sure what happened to him. Kane and Son.
Yeh I've seen that bit, cheers for the link. tbf Fergie always had good respect for the rivalry between us. The purple faced c*nt
