I think that SHOULD be a reason to want it more. But that’s how I would feel if it was me!!
If that is their thinking then they are deluded - if we couldn’t rely on them today then why would we rely on them next season?
Today is the day for saving skins - and their only hope of doing that is playing out of their skins.
Every fan should have everything crossed that they do, but it doesn’t look to good if we are relying on our recent history.
I hope it is, but you know what happened to the last person spouting off about having a dream - and @Nig is already taking an unhealthy interest in shotguns..
Not expecting it but not building my hopes up to progress.
It'll be our luck to be 2-0 up then they get a goal on 89 minutes.
It's just our recent form.
If we do get past Lincoln, and of course it is possible.
We're going to need to be on top form against Blackpool and hopefully the side lady luck shines on.
So to lessen my disappointment I'm with, I think it was @Oldsandy and resigned to another season in league 1 with rebuilt and refreshed team and hopefully champions at the end.
If we do go up this season mind It'll be just fooking amazing and a moment in time to frame .
What you want to worry about is if we win the final and I pop round and hit you over the head with my banjo and dry bum you in celebration
Too right. Anyone could see that Leadbitter got us moving forward much more when he came on on Wednesday. Balls into the channels and forward passes. Entirely different to Power who he replaced.
It is just silly for any supporter to slag off another supporter, cos they are optimistic, pessimistic or realistic about the game today.
I cannot see any supporter not wanting to beat Lincoln by 3 goals...
However on present form nobody would argue its a sure thing!
Can we do it, of course we can, we need to raise our game and get a goal early on to put them under pressure.. we are capable of it..

watched the other semi last night, sorry like but cannot see past blackpool going up, both teams actually looked as if they wanted it and yes it was pretty much a 'typical' div 3 game but you could see they were going for it...if we play as we did in the 1st leg this is our last game.
i have also seen plenty from our squad to know that they are capable of far better performances and if they do not want 'bottler' on their CV's then they need to at least put on a show for the fans and take the game to lincoln.
i feel we can do it today but will fall short in the final i'm afraid as that would be typical sun'lan...build us up with a good display then turn up for the final as a 3 legged race team doing the spoon and egg.

That's the problem when we continue to persist with Wyke. Not a chance in hell would Wyke have scored the goal Stewart did the other week. It's time to drop Wyke, 30 goals or not, and roll the dice on Stewart.
