Really? Hes been in poor form IMO for quite some time. He was also injured the only game we won on this recent horrendous run.

I don't necessarily think his form has dropped. Our opponents have got wise to us and know that we rely heavily on Geads as our only truly creative player.
The last few games I've noticed that every time he receives the ball, he is doubled up on by at least two of the opposition players.
We need better movement by our players to pull defenders out of position down the left channel, if we are to get the best out of Geads.

I’ve just read that McGeady has signed a waiver to be able to play today.
I think that’s a great gesture from him and that we reward him with another years contract.

I'd be surprised if we offer him a new contract if we are looking to play a high pressing game.
