I never thought of Jenas as having a terrible attitude when he played for us - more that he just wasn't capable physically.

I really prefer just not to think about that period in our history tbh.

The problem definitely wasnt his attitude. He was just past his best. The problem was that we had so many like that at the time.
We signed some great players in that period that we never thought we would ever see in a QPR shirt but the ingredients when mixed together simply did not work. We were badly managed from top to bottom. What we really could have done with in that period was a sensible and experienced board that would have brought the right manager in and spent for the future and not the here and now. Who knows where we might have been now. Instead we are even now paying for the terrible waste of money.

Had we done that we might not have matched Leicester, but we could have been close.

The board were naive to put it mildly and should (and did) shoulder the blame and cover the cost. But the criminals were Warnock, Hughes and Redknapp who exploited that naivety to the max to further their own reputations, and couldn’t even do that properly. ****ers.

Anyway, we live with the consequences and are perhaps turning the corner, at last.

That’s Bloody Luke Young, if you please.

At least Dyer had the grace to walk, or limp, away, Bloody Luke just sat on his arse and saw his excessive contract out.

We gave him a three year contract on comfortably double what anyone else would have paid him if that link posted is correct. Bloke couldn’t believe his luck.

Delighted with the Sam Field signing. The most important of the lot for me, his versatility, that presence in CM we've been lacking and has re-sale value. Great business by the club and I believe we've got a very good player in Field who with a proper pre-season under his belt will really shine. Welcome.

Yes, this is a good one. He can play CB too.
