He was about to walk when short said the table was bare, only for the embarrassing moment to be saved by Wroy walking...
Johnson comes no where near to Sam's record, do you remember when he kept us up in the premier league ? Johnson has not got a clue. I would rather have Barton here than the southerner any day.
He said he left because he doesn't want to manage in the championship. So we should try to hire him? In League One? Where best case scenario, he helps us get promoted to the championship? A league he has said he doesn't want to manage in? Nice. Really nice.
Despite our current situation, I'm still enjoying supporting Sunderland now more than I did during the majority of our stint in the Premier League. Because it chews me up less now I suppose.
Yesterday we were changing venues in our tour of Scotland, had a faint Wi-Fi signal until Hume went off injured then nothing til 11pm, nothing on my mobile either so when I eventually got the result it was a mere shrug of the shoulders and we went to bed. In earlier times I would have been utterly gutted but now whilst I'm disappointed I won't let it spoil my days like it used to do. Course I hope we can turn it round on Saturday but not holding my breath, that's the life of a Sunderland fan imo.
I'm sure big sam will continue to fight fires wherever there's a fat pay cheque waiting , just as cabbage heed ( booed by the mags on the end of season lap of honour yesterday) will keep taking fat mike's dosh to keep the mags bumbling along nicely. Never was the phrase 'journeyman manager' more apt than for these two, no doubt they'll be sharing a few beers on a beach over the summer to compare notes and see how they can help each other out in the football circus like they've always done, you scratch my back etc.........
Yeah I know! Definition of insanity is trying the same thing multiple times expecting different results…l I obviously suffer that as I think, one of these days, he may listen
no, not at all. I'm just being cynical and a bit bitter about them really. I need to realise its a job to them, and probably many more managers, and they're in it for what they can get. I'd like to have fond memories of both of them at SAFC, but I don't.
