Thiago is a joy to watch. we all know he’s not been great this season, but was thrown in after injury into a side in chaos playing a diff role etc.

with him in midfield next to Fabinho he’s been brilliant. Really looking forward to watching him next year with vvd behind him and Hendo back in middle.

Hendo fab thiago is a very very good midfiekd 3. Now doesn’t offer huge goal threat but has everything else

Nat Phillips. Proper old school CB. Has his limitations but can’t not like the bloke. Making a career out of what he has. And 1000 times better than any of us ever were / are / will be

But unlike Arsenal we actually do things in the CL when we've scraped top 4.

It's not a trophy, but it would be an achievement given the state we were in a few weeks ago.

I love what he just said when asked what he enjoyed more.. scoring his 1st Liverpool goal or the goal line clearance, and before the question as finished he interupts with "clearance every time. Thats my job."

I dunno if he has a future beyond this season but he's done himself proud for us this year.

And if he doesn't, at least we can now sell him for 80m<laugh>

Not saying any different I'll be a happy man but I'll probably have a brew after the game other than a party.

We were all over the place totally and then were under serious pressure for most of the second half.

They were absolutely pants up top but were camped on our box yet I'm wrong :) sure mate.

Thiago seems to be controlling his tackling a bit better now as well. He was giving away so many frees and I really was expecting him to get sent off before long.

I went to a lot of schools as a kid, at each new one it's best to get the fighting done early, first day is best. Sets the tone.. Let's people know not to **** with you.

Imo the important thing is we are "in form" and have put the awfulness of losing behind us. Its leggy and hard to watch but its winning and that momentum can be carried into next season if we can just complete the job.

Spurs have never recovered from their awful end to the season where they crawled into the cl final and lost. Momentum is so important.

Agreed. Give him benefit of doubt that was new to league, new to pace and getting back to fitness after horrible injury.

Now he’s not playing as the last line of midfield maybe but less pressure knowing he doesn’t need to make a foul if can’t get the ball as he has Fabinho behind him as well.

So we where out of control in the first half and scored one, second half they where camped outside our box and we managed another 2.

But they did manage a massive 10 shots all game, not one of which troubled Allison.

I'll reiterate, its like you hope we lose so you can crow about our deficiencies.

Well boys and girls, my nerves evaporated after about 10 minutes.

I can understand some of the comments, but really, we where the better team from start to finish.

Fairly simple in result at the end.

    Night night.

    No mate.

It's about controlling a game of football.

Are you denying they were in over Williams and were were in danger of a slip up on several occasions?

Are you denying we just sat at 2-0 mostly hacking it out for 25mins there as the camped in our half cos the stats on passions were pretty clear on screen :)
