The pessimism is overdone yet again. Burnley just been thrashed 4-0 by Leeds at Turf Moor. And as I said earlier they are already on their hols as they have nothing to play for. Score early and I can only see one winner as they have to come out.

The presence of fans of either persuasion should help fire both teams imo. I believe the lack of atmosphere is by far the biggest factor in the general crappiness of so many teams this season.
Lots of footballers revel in playing to a hostile crowd and rise to the occasion.
Burnley had nothing to play for last season when they prevented us from winning all our home games
The fact that the fans are back at Turf Moor will only help to push them on to us which in turn should help us to counter attack them...?? Still think we should beat them, but it's another game where we could do with scoring first...
How did teams get on with return of fans towards the end of 2020? More home team wins again?
I don't think it was that significant. I think it helped us for one or two games. we smashed wolves, the fans were great but we ****ed up v west brom for example.
Especially after they lost 4-0 in their last match. Their fans will want them to play a more open game. Funnily enough I think this game should be more straightforward than the last one against Big Sam.
Why would burnely fans want an open game?
They are literally in for the sake of being in and will be the die hard so any old hacking will do them.
