As we all know graven images are not really that mentioned in the jesus saves handbook.

You've got to be a bit more creative with your interpretation - you know, like a ref with the rule book.

I can only speak for myself on this and how I was raised in my Catholic and Christian upbringing. Statues are pieces of stone, wood or metal and are not to be worshipped in and of themselves. Depending on the statues and their historical significance, for example, they are revered as works of art and are there as reminders to pray.

Just realised what Alisson's header reminded me of; Gerrard's header in the 2005 CL final. Twisting body position, twist of head and neck, angled into far top corner, etc
