Diedhiou is not well liked by Wurzel fans. Seems like his head was turned last summer. It didn't come off and he has spent the last season dreaming of greener pastures. Lazy, disinterested and poor attitude are some of the kinder comments I have read. He didn't figure in Pearson's last few squads. That's a no from me. P.S. Diedhiou's wage demands are also a problem and look to have driven a wedge into thoughts of him signing for Boro. Therefore, add greedy ba$tard to the above list of adjectives.
One in.............. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...rough-Cardiff-Bristol-City-free-transfer.html .........and one out? https://the72.co.uk/235805/cardiff-citys-mark-harris-wanted-on-loan-by-crewe-alexandra-next-season/
So who’s the player Dalman said an offer had been accepted for? Boro said to be favourites for the 30 year old Collins. Hardly one for the future - seems cover for Moore. I’d be disappointed if after having seen Harris make good progress this last season, he’s then sent out on loan.
Collins - that's another no from me. At times in the last 2 seasons he had Swansea Ciy disease. Couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo. Yes he huffs and puffs a lot and has some physicality but hardly someone who is going to add value to a team wanting promotion. Like Remote I would keep Harris rather than sign him.

Do we really want to sign someone 30 years old who was pretty goal shy last season? Not any sort of upgrade in my eyes.
Agreed - I'd rather persist and develop 21/22 year old Watters and Harris than bring in a 30 year old. Hardly a journeyman yet, but he's had his chance to impress. A side issue is the one big attraction to Mick might be the fact that Collins is an Irish international.
TBH, really wouldn't be surprised if we are looking at any one or more of Deijdou or however it's spelt, Patterson and Walsh from the Wurzles. Wonder if our bid is for Camarasa?
https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport...cardiff-city-summer-transfer-targets-20612793 Shouldn’t our manager be stating what type of player we need not the Chairman who is not qualified to do so? His only role is to determine if MMs targets are within financial bounds. He shouldn’t have any say otherwise. The article suggests MM will have a sizeable say in transfer targets; he should have - with Connor and any other qualified people in the football side of the club - total say.
Nin - Cunningham got a few ROI caps about 10 years ago (not for McCarthy) and hasn't played for the Republic since - Whyte plays for the enemy in the north. The difference with Collins is that it was McCarthy who called him up for the ROI squad during his second stint as manager and gave him his caps. That means he knows him and rates him. The fact that he's a freebee could also tip the balance as far as the available budget is concerned.
