People are fickle in this town when it comes to sport.

I attended every home game in 70/71 when 20k was a typical gate.

Four seasons later it was quite often 5,000. Booing was commonplace, slow handclaps and angry 'What a load of rubbish' chants would sometimes ring out.

Divided crowd even then, regardless of chairmen.

Sure we've had some dodgy owners before but nothing quite like the Allams. As Kempton said 'the Allams made heinous crimes against the fans of Hull City' and as OLM said they have absolutely no chance of uniting the fans. So no I don't even need to be careful what I wish for thanks. i know exactly what I wish for and I'm happy to be absolutely reckless in wishing for it!

We've had owners who've separated the club from the stadium, then rented it back to us then locked us out when the new owners didn't pay the rent.

We've had convicted fraudsters owning & running the club.

I'll take the current owners over them all day long.

I'm not sure why you're asking me that question? But from memory they've all failed in one way or another(including the previous ones who left us in deep ****).

The point was,and still is,the use of the word 'Heinous' in describing our current owners/owner...Unliked,loathed,despised by some, but why the word heinous is being used to describe a spat between owner and fans is both puzzling and absolutely ****ing hilarious!!

Some supporters confuse 'dislike' with 'wrongdoing' it seems.

Maybe it fuels their righteousness?

For some, unfortunately.

Being a 'city fan' has become about opposing the owners more than about supporting the lads on the park.
The owners haven't helped themselves, but i doubt 'fans' picketing the Melton Mansion' and chucking bricks at the cars going in and out will have done much for constructive dialogue back in 2014.

Yup. Absolutely right. City fans are happier when they have an excuse not to pay the turnstile, large-mouth it as opposed to going to games and keep the missus happy on a saturday afternoon.

We wouldnt have gone up with the fans in the ground this year.

Any side that wins a league with a better away record than home, points to the conclusion they play more freely with less pressure away.

Kcom should be a fortress, not a gladiatorial slaughter pit for our own lads.

Next season take note. Support them or not, but dont get all anti-owners as an excuse not to support the boys....

... Who for the first time in decades are good local boys being given the opportunity to play for the hometown club.

They’ve never had their homes picketed (unless you couldn’t Askew in the bushes) and nobody’s ever thrown bricks at their cars, they had about a dozen people chanting outside their office once, but that’s as bad as it got away from the. KCOM.

None really. Duffen was only here for a while but never at the time had any stick( well not till the accountant had a look).
Maybe Pearson was the only one who fully understood the importance of the supporter and building up the fan base. Ie Kids wearing Hull City shirts.
