Corbyn truly fcuked over the Labour Party for decades into the future, man of the match performance.

A lot of people remember how Labour MP's in this area didn't back a single Brexit proposal from either side of the house, despite their constituents overwhelmingly wanting it. If you put the party before your constituents, don't be too surprised when they don't vote for you. Personally, I'll only consider voting Labour again in my constituency, when Bridget the Midget calls it a day.

Don’t worry DH4 will be on in a minute to convince us Kier is doing a Sterling job.<doh>
lLabour has been screwed by Corbyn. My parents keep arguing for him it I couldn’t vote for him in the general election so I simply didn’t vote for the first time since I hit 18! Id vote for Starmer though. Think he’s a much better person for the job but he’s pissing into the wind atm

I feel a bit sorry for Starmer. He's trying to lead the party back towards the centre ground but all the Corbynites are determined to keep them as far to the left as possible. But that's what lost them the general election. The country is crying out for a centrist party.

That's where the Lib Dems should have an open goal.

They are far too weak though.

Corbyn would not agree. Mind you he would not disagree either.
It’s hard to know what his position really was.
Although he made it perfectly clear.
It’s all very sad for Labour.
Brain I think it's hilarious and not sad at all tho my parents would be disgusted the way the onetime people's party is now being mishandled.
How do the people's party end up with a multi millionaire leader whose as far away from the working classes as it's possible to get. Thanks
Full your boots Boris.

As DPP i guess he would have had a decent salary, the house he lives in London is probably worth a fortune, although he bought it years ago. So on paper he is a millionaire I guess... but not much cash in hand?

The Brexit party which stood in 2019, I reckon took a lot of votes from the tories, so they did not win seats in Hartlepool, Sunderland etc. The Brexit party did not stand this time round and their votes have gone to the tories Correct/Wrong??

I was thinking last night about Kier and apart from him attacking Boris about his flat has he come up with anything different since the election?

Absolutly.

IF, we want any sort of 'democracy', then a credible oposition is a must.

I assumed that a sensible, apparantly honest soul, like Sir Kier would steady their ship and start to gather their lost sheep back into the fold.
It's obviously going to take time.

Boris made a mediocre job of the first wave of Covid.
The shoprtages of protective equipment were dealt with in a wave of panic and not well either, but at least they were dealt with.
BUT, he has come out of the second wave looking like a hero due to the very excellant way the Vaccine Rollout has been managed.

So, massive Brownie Points for Boris. Lets vote for the man who saved Gradma's life!!!

And what of Labour.
Perhaps 'The Electorate' is more savvy than I thought.
Their Hard Left has not gone away.
Their racists have not suddenly started to 'love thy neighbour'.
And no doubt their former supporters know this.

Somehow, Labour are going to have not only to become a centerist Party, but will need to convince these former supporters of this.
The days when they could rely on the majority of Scottish Seats are past as well.

It looks as if we might be stuck with Boris, or The Conservative Party, being in power for a long time.

Keir Starmer was born into a working class family and became rich because of his intelligence and hard work and earned it. Boris was born into money on the back of which he had contacts, which led him to bullshit his way into every job he has ever had. There is no comparison to be made.

When do you think they’ll realise that demonising entire northern communities as evil, racist and thick won’t translate into success at election time?

The really sad thing is that a once great party has been totally infiltrated and destroyed by a bunch of middle class, identity politics obsessed, woke arseholes.

Absolutely bang on

I didn't compare him to Boris, I just said by working class standards he's very rich, but you twist it anyway you like bonny lad.

Unfortunately Starmer lacks character and hasn't provided the substance either. Not helped by the pandemic where in all honesty party policy has gone out the window. We are desperate for an opposition to counteract the most corrupt of governments but unfortunately our corrupt local councils and beared the brunt of peoples frustrations on this occasion. Hopefully it'd the kick up the arse Labour needed locally and they get their act together as the country cannot allow this tory government to continue doing what they want.

If only there was a genuine alternative to both parties!!!
