Vestergaard until he got injured. Romeu until he got injured. I'll go with Armstrong, but would be happy if either WP picked up the award too.
Never really understood the attitude of ‘the second half of the season has been so bad the we must negate all of the first part’. It’s quite pervasive, and quite weird.

I went for KWP - JWP has been great too but he needs to drive forward more and be more commanding, Stuey has been great too but sometimes disappears in games. They would all be 8 out of 10 for me but KWP edges it as there is a sense of relief when he is on the teamsheet.
Im not negating the first half, we were very good (in the main) for that half. We’ve been very bad (in the main) since, maybe they should rename it “player of the season up til the Liverpool game when we turned **** and no body deserves credit after that point”? Catchy

Agree with everything you said. I think James, just. Sounds like a good band name, Jesus Jones comes to mind! There are only 4 choices really I think. Vestergaard, Armstrong, JWP and KWP. Vestergaard pre-injury was immense at both ends of the pitch. But since his return from injury, he's not been at that level. Armstrong is consistently the player that makes us tick as an attacking team, but he does still have off games and can go missing. JWP...to play every minute of every game is an achievement in a normal season, to do it during this compressed season with lack of recovery, etc etc is super human. I do think his performances and energy has suffered a bit in this second part of the season though. KWP was putting in MOTM performances game after game in the first half of the season but again since his injury he hasn't quite hit those heights and has thrown in the odd poor performance that didn't look like ever coming before.
Tough one. I genuinely don't know who I would pick.

Wondered who the 1.5% was!Even though he's been off the boil post-COVID, I've went with Ings. Might be a little odd to choose a player who was only at their best for the first three months, but those three months where Ings dominated are the reason we'll be a Premier League side next year.
