A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush means it is better to have the certainty of possessing something that has some value, than to gamble that certainty on the promise of possessing something of greater value (if bird = game) , unless your talking about a bird who's game and that's @Chazz arena) )

Just watched the Peterboro penalty again, it beggars belief. All I can imagine is that the ref forgot which team was which!

Easy to say now we've won, isn't it? It depends on who has the games in hand, a squad with confidence could win those games. Or, they might not. It's not like it's concrete that every single time a team wouldn't catch another that's played more games. In this scenario, it's worked out for us, which is amazing.

For a team like Rotherham, who absolutely have their destiny in their hands, I'd wager if they'd played the same amount as Derby, they wouldn't have much hope.

was on Vital Lincoln reading the match thread from our game against them last week..

They really dispise us...the bitterness was almost overwhelming.

Saying that,I’d quite like them to go up via the playoffs as I always liked going to Sincil Bank for away days..

I just had a quick squint on the Cobblers board to see if I could find him, and found this instead..."Angry Crabs"...."Rowing Nonces"...:emoticon-0102-bigsm

He was banned years ago for saying things that went against the party line. Was once talking to a Northampton fan who said he was a bit of a legend amongst Cobblers fans.
