Obviously being seven down already is really bad, but the comfort is that it isn't unexpected. For Surrey to bowl first, and us to drop Mason, the signs were there.

Hopefully things will still be as helpful when Abbott and Abbas have a go. Although on paper, Surrey do have a very strong batting line-up (they just haven't quite shown it yet this season).
 
Overton finally gets Max Holden with the last ball before lunch. This after he was dropped twice and caught off a no ball. Middx 82-2.
 
Not sure how happy I am about that single being taken off the last ball. Surely we need Lewis on strike as much as possible? And, ideally, hitting out.
