Not a great performance today and we looked nervy putting ourselves under pressure at times but got the job done and well you cannot complain about our run since February, Well done to Munoz and the players for getting together and putting in all the work to achieve this. No-one cares how it's done so long as the aim is achieved.
Mission accomplished, Well done to Munoz, transformed us from a team of negativity to one that believes that they can reach for the stars.
In truth, I can’t have a beer till I’ve finished fixing the washing machine. Just putting back together. Then...
Scott and Gino looked very happy when the final whistle blew. I suspect they were relieved as well as they have taken a risk with both staff and keeping some players.
I must admit to being completely blown away......Just been great to walk and talk with Hackney..... been a great and totallly weird season......
Judging from Scott Duxbury's comments on the promotion party on Youtube/the Hive, things financially have not been at all easy this season , maybe enarer failing than we thought.
I remember he said the lack of revenue from no fans would have hit hard and that was in October last year. The club have spent a lot on on the VIP and executive box areas but had no one to use them. Probably were going to be used to host other events too which people don't realise. And really we didn't sell any players for big money whilst still having players on big wages. We certainly didn't have millions to spend as some were claiming on Twitter earlier in the season! I mean had we not got promoted a few players would have gone that is for certain.
As Xisco cannot coach in the Prem (it's a closed shop, a bit like the ESL) ,then perhaps we should approach Mourinho. Only joking, but maybe he could become the named head coach , on condition he didn't come anywhere near the club or training ground, (It's the sort of thing that allows almost anyone short of Epstein to satisfy the owners test. So it should be allowed) A proper suggestion would be to recruit Wenger or Benitez to act as a guide/mentor. Burkinshaw was brilliant for Aidy, until Aidy thought he knew it all !
I think he is doing his badges so might be ok. Has worked under Benítez before so maybe that will be an option? Get him in just to annoy the Newcastle fans!
Very impressed by the comments of Scott Duxbury ( as mentioned above) Disappointed by TD.... it seems to be all about him???
I told you all not to worry, but today was a tough game we dont seem to cope that well with a brutal team who try to muscle us out of the game We need to go up on a high tho so cannot take our foot off the pedal I just read the Norwich match day thread, what a miserable bunch of of arrogant w*******s they are, one of them actually hopes Deeney falls down a flight of stairs and breaks his legs With apologies to Canary Dave I hope they start next season the way they finished last season with 10 straight defeats and beat Derby;s record of lowest points ever in the Premier League
