It will be interesting to see what occurs now, as you rightly name the clubs in previous punishments, all non prem clubs.
I give you the plight of Dover Athletic in the National League during covid, not only could they no longer financially fulfill their fixtures because of the pandemic, but they were hit with a fine they could never pay. They also had all their points stripped from the league and will be relegated. On top of all that, they've been hit with a 12 point deduction for next season. So a hat-trick of punishments, on a club struggling to survive.
