Why is it fair that the very fans that stood up to stop the end of English domestic football for the good of us all be punished?

I don't understand that.

Just make a change to prevent this super league ****e ever resurfacing and try to get rid of the people involved

It wouldn't have ruined it for me, I be glad to see the back of these club's myself......it's all about them init.......fk em I say

It is fair.

Saints fans didn’t have a say in administration
Wigan fans didn’t
Bury didn’t

etc etc. Yet these clubs were brutally handicapped with points deductions. We nearly went out of business. Some have.

What the spineless six did is MUCH worse

You’d still only scrape about 12th spot Osvaldo

let’s all move on now

Did you read my Dover comment?

Their fans were punished simply because the club could not afford to play during the pandemic.

The fans were subject to the following...

1. Heavy fine, which the fans set up Fund page to raise the money.
2. Stripped of all points and there by relegated.
3. 12 points deduction for the start of next season.

Is that fair, the supporters stood up for their club and the good of football, but it didn't get them any goodwill in return!

It's definitely not fair mate but my opinion would've been the save for that.

Two wrongs don't make a right

It's just my opinion :emoticon-0148-yes:

I think it was actually along with the likes of Bayern etc not joining them.

It all played a part, so punishing the fans seems unfair to me that's all.

Making the right changes is always a better solution than punishment in my opinion

Nah. **** ‘em. Want to see kids crying when they’re told it’s Rotherham away next year.

So 5 of those teams have a chance of winning a competition in the next few weeks that they don't want to be in and actually signed up not to be a part of,ok then lets have a drink and forget about it.

That's great, but unfortunately you'd soon have realised the intention was to stay in the prem and play the super league on Wednesday nights

Whether you like it or not mate, world football would miss Manchester United and Liverpool. And, to an extent, Arsenal. Daft to pretend otherwise.

Not so much Chelsea and definitely not Man City and Spurs, but the others, 'fraid so.

The did want to be in it.. I'm surprised people still haven't realised that.

The people involved need to be punished personally imo or removed and changes put in place like new legislation to prevent the threat of it ever resurfacing.

That's my view and it's just my view :emoticon-0148-yes:

I don't think any punishment is fair on the fans of those clubs..

I don't see any benefit in punishment.

Just force the yanks out

How?

I agree that supporters who essentially prevented this should not be made to pay but something has to happen to the owners?

Money is the only thing. Taking money from united wouldn't affect supporters, believe it or not, the vast majority of us don't spaff off every weekend because we're top of some finance league.

Yeah but they’re not big enough to matter, so therefore it’s sound apparently.

You can add Bury, Bolton, Wigan and Sheff Weds to that list and plenty of others who’ve had to stand and watch as their bent owners ****ed them over and the authorities punished the club, and the owners ran away.

I don't know, but it just seems a good idea.

Yup, I agree, and what makes the Dover situation even worse and the link I didn't put up, a number of clubs were subject to the same fines for the same reasons. Dover were the only ones who had the bolloxs to say fook you and still refused to play, hence why their punishment was harsher than the rest. Basically they were bullied by the governing body.

Exactly mate.

No point in people saying they wouldn't be missed because it's bollocks, they would.

It's the same for Everton villa and tbh most clubs.. Its the history.. Also the grounds would be missed.

There are many, many examples. I’ll even go so far as to use Pompey as an example.

Clubs have faced very harsh penalties for lesser crimes, with absolutely no thought for the fans.

Leeds were huge, forest were huge etc. Football has to be the priority.

There is absolutely no reason for this to be different, just because the clubs are the big six. What they tried to do is wreck the entire game pretty much.

If they were to relegate any of the big six, can they make sure it's only to the Championship, we really don't want them down in League One, no matter how much they think they are special, thanks kindly.

No genuine football fan wanted to see these clubs leave the league pyramid that’s the entire point of the uproar.

It was their owners actions who made that a possibility though, as they didn’t give a **** about the pyramid. Not one single **** was given.

Just a thought, but say the clubs are punished on such a way that the fans are too, so the owners say lets join the super league afterall? Maybe the fans say OK **** the premier league and the lot of you let's go..
