Fair comment .

I meant all the teams looking to break away and uefa etc .

I don't think the 6 want this , but will use it as a bargaining tool . I certainly didn't mean the other PL teams let alone the other leagues.

Sorry it was a sarcastic answer which was uncalled for.

As a supporter of a lower league team we have watched the regular deals for the PL being dished out and not once has there been any consideration to the finances of the football clubs in the lower leagues. All of a sudden, the status quo looks like it’s under fire and we must ALL save football.
If SKY came along tomorrow and said that there was another £100m on offer to each club in the PL, which went some way to covering COVID losses, not one of those PL clubs would care about the rest of football. That was my point about everyone.

I've already said previously they will play B teams, another reason what this is all about. Fook em, kick them out.

Hopefully I think the format of this league would be so dull that eventually people would start watching the premier league anyway and another big 6 would start bullying the others..

I've been waiting 30 years for this all to implode, I'm laughing my head off over it.

I agree get rid, but that's not the plan or the concern I have mate.

The plan is to stay

I think it’s gone too far for that now. Even if they can be convinced to stay, it will have to come with some kind of financial incentive, which would likely piss off the other clubs as they will see it as unfair.

No that's not what I'm saying.

The want to stay in the premier league and be in the super league.

That's their aim not to leave.

@captain wrong you might not know, they tried to force B Teams on us some seasons back. We said NO. As a compromise we let them in the paint pot, and lower league fans boycotted any matches involving B Teams - not that it mattered much because no one apart from those that get to Wembley, had any interest in it anyway.

Now the six B Teams will be dumped on the Prem instead.

<laugh>

I'm pleased to did that because I had no ****ing idea whatsoever as to what you were talking about

How long is it going to be before the teams in the super league have overspent and have an even bigger debt mountain that they can'r service and need to form and even more elitist breakaway competition. The all-new League Super-Duper? (or LSD for short)

Yeah sorry mate, I suppose a lot of Prem supporters might not know. It caused uproar when they brought forward the idea of B Teams, it got a clear reaction, fook off. So part of what we see going on now, relates to some of that, that we wouldn't let the big clubs have their own way. Our view was if you have players you want to loan out, then we'll be happy to engage that, but no way are we letting you set up B Teams in the lower leagues. I'd rather watch National League teams get merged in, than the Prem forcing their excess player squads on us. That's why I always laugh when Prem teams cry about playing too many matches.

Why is he a clown @Tobes (beyond his normal posts). It’s easy to say you wouldn’t be part of it when you’re not invited?

Did you read their statement?

You’re talking about a club who spent 2 years consulting with fans and the local community about our stadium move and the legacy project for Goodison.

A club that is embedded in the community with the largest community charity project in the country that sits alongside it.

I firmly believe that there’s no way on Earth that the club would have done what the 6 have done i.e. not even consult with their own managers and staff about their plans to completely **** on the football pyramid, and completely ignore their own fans. Our club goals have been clear, to sort the ground move and then progress on the pitch to a level where we could attain European football. If you want to believe otherwise then that’s up to you.

Go for the players in these teams. The rules changed in January and even though regular internationals are virtually guaranteed a work permit they still need to have governing body endorsement to play.
If the governing bodies rules allow for clubs and players to be sanctioned for playing in this league then stop the supply of players.
