My mistake i thought he was a forward here
He started out as a striker in the youth teams, the dropped into attacking midfield. He’s a central midfielder at Hartlepool. He’s also put on about 5 stone, which might explain his change in position.

But the teams behind them have got games in hand .....Featherstone plays in central midfield for Pools, alongside another ex-Tiger Gavin Holohan (the latter never made a first team appearance). They’ve got a really good chance of getting back into the EFL.
I’m not sure whether Sutton have got rid of their 3G pitch yet. If they haven’t, they can’t be promoted to League 2.Fair comnent. Dare I say . Points in the bag!
Sutton have tricky run in. Sutton vs Hpool on 22 May could be... well....wait for it....massive.

Blown it have Rotherham.... so many games in hand and haven't managed to win one.... Would have been nice to put Derby in the bottom 3....Rotherham 0-1 Brum..
Oh well a trip to the NYS doesn't look likely.

They’ve still got six games to play. I can’t see how you can write them off yet.Blown it have Rotherham.... so many games in hand and haven't managed to win one.... Would have been nice to put Derby in the bottom 3....
Still in the top six by 4 points, between them and reading for the last spotBarnsley beaten at Coventry..Looks as if the short trip to theirs could be on for next season
Saw him for Hartlepool v Maidstone a couple of years ago and he was a stand out player that day. Think he was playing a deep midfield role.speaking of hartlepool, an ex-tiger scored for them today in a 7-2 away win at wealdstone.(it describes him as a forward but the line-ups show him in defence).
When I said blown it, I meant they had 5 or 6 games in hand... and they have lost 3 of the last 4 at home to 3 teams in the same trouble Wycombe, Coventry and today Birmingham. You're right about the win Tuesday, you'd have thought that might have been the spark they needed... I'm only interested in the hope they could overtake Derby...They’ve still got six games to play. I can’t see how you can write them off yet.
And they won last Tuesday.
He’s a good manager to have in the play offs all that positivityCharlton have just been pushed out of the top 6, big game for Peterborough this...
Think I’ll watch Peterborough and Doncaster
tonight, come on donny!!!!
Peterboro should walk this really, but you never know, nerves and all that. A draw would be good.
Yehbut... With their games in hand they could still get in the ESL...Pity Donny didnt win at weekend as it would have given them something to aim for
