Assuming a good farrier, it should improve whatever chance it would have had if left to run unshodi can never recall a horse being re shod at the start , then going on to win ! surely it must affect them in some way ?
San Cristobal has a each way chance tomorrow at Chantilly (2.45)
First show is 11-2

No reason why not rudey. Doubt they would want to do it on firm ground though.some trainers run them without shoes don’t they ?

My earlier comment was referring to horses who needed to be re-shod![]()
I have no idea rudey but what are the chances that a re-shod horse would have won the race in any event? Have you ever seen or heard of a report that a horse didn't win because it was re-shod before the start? How many horses need to be re-shod before the start? All I can say is that if a horse spreads a plate going to the start, it should perform better if it is re-shod. I doubt it would run it wasn't OK to be re-shodaye , but have you ever seen one win after the re shoeing ? i can’t ever recall one , nass would know if he got his stat app to hand !
Number 8 is:Vrigny
She made up a lot of ground to finish 2nd on her Deauville debut last autumn
With the turf season starting the end of next month I am compiling a list of some 3 year old's who should pay to follow
Number 1 is: The Hood
Trained by Alan King he caught my eye on debut in the summer at Newbury. Though unplaced did race on the nearside which seemed to be a disadvantage, but showed ability and I expect the gelding to win races
Number 5 is: Port Philip
Another Joseph colt who is yet to race, but is owned by Lloyd Williams who normally has some nice staying types with this stable
Nice each way price tomorrow [5.15 Nottingham]
20-1 with Bet 365
Non Runner
Number 4 is: Rekero
Expensive Joseph O'Brien colt who though yet to race was unplaced in a Dundalk barrier trial, but I saw enough there to say he will do well when upped in trip on turf
Number 9 is: Agrimony
Irish trained colt who has finished 2nd in both his starts, from a small stable so chances are the horse will be under estimated in the market
