With the turf season starting the end of next month I am compiling a list of some 3 year old's who should pay to follow

Number 1 is: The Hood

Trained by Alan King he caught my eye on debut in the summer at Newbury. Though unplaced did race on the nearside which seemed to be a disadvantage, but showed ability and I expect the gelding to win races

Number 2 is: Zagato

Trained by John Gosden and though beaten on both runs as a juvenile did not get much luck and should improve when on the turf

One would have though on pedigree that he has little chance of winning a 12f G1 yet his only entry to date is The Epsom Derby. Just touched off by a Sea The Stars colt (who is 2 months older) on second outing, over 10f

Derby entry not to be taken seriously, but horse does look like he will stay 12f

Number 3 is: Saywhatyouwant

From a small Irish stable and finished a good 3rd on only run at the Curragh when a big outsider

Number 4 is: Rekero

Expensive Joseph O'Brien colt who though yet to race was unplaced in a Dundalk barrier trial, but I saw enough there to say he will do well when upped in trip on turf

Number 5 is: Port Philip

Another Joseph colt who is yet to race, but is owned by Lloyd Williams who normally has some nice staying types with this stable

Number 6 is: Tawfan

French trained colt who was only a neck on debut 3rd behind a well fancied stablemate who won his next race

Number 7 is:San Cristobal

Good 3rd on debut when outsider for small French trainer, not beaten far

Number 8 is:Vrigny

She made up a lot of ground to finish 2nd on her Deauville debut last autumn

What type of race/distance etc are you earmarking these for G1?

Number 6 is: Tawfan

French trained colt who was only a neck on debut 3rd behind a well fancied stablemate who won his next race

Runs tomorrow [1.55 Cagnes-Sur-Mer]

Should take the beating, already into 11-8 from 6-4

Well backed but only 2nd

Though did have a new shoe put on at the start, which was not ideal
