There 606 board has gone into panic mode combined with a realisation that they're £hite.According to poster's on the Sunderland board's, there's a lot of there squad out of contract , come the end of season.
That’s in the dna then and we’re always just missing out in promotions or cup finals?May 1984?
I agree, it's a daft City trope that doesn't have much modern day evidence to support it. We did lose the play-offs in 2000 (?) too, but that was with a squad punching way above its weight and was largely down to Matthew Lockwood, an extremely talented Leyton Orient werepig. That’s in the dna then and we’re always just missing out in promotions or cup finals?
Sunderland have lost 7 times at Wembley in recent times
That’s fuxking it up at the final hurdle
When have we done that and been that close to a promotion in our history?
Hardly at all
a) By not scoring enough goalsHow have we? What have we just missed out on? And when ?
Or more likely BlackpoolThere 606 board has gone into panic mode combined with a realisation that they're £hite.
Charlton in the play offs looms in the windscreen mirror like a giant turd.
It’s never easy especially for a team that was in free fall leading to relegation. Some very decent clubs who have been in the championship and premier league in the last few years who are still stuck in this league. We have had a massive turn around to be where we are at this moment in time. I think it’s surprised many from other clubs and a few on here. To finish the job off will be a marvellous achievement and watching the team lately absolutely fully deserved.Speaking to a cpl of Leeds supporters they cannot believe we might/possibly/maybe getting out of this league at the first time of asking. To a man they said it’s a really difficult league to get out of..
Just ask slumberland

Regardless of what our DNA may or may not indicate we are on a pretty remarkable run of form right now! And if we can keep it going just a bit longer I don't anyone could say we don't deserve to go up.

The fat lady is glancing at her mic, but she hasn’t picked it up yet.
I shall be predicting us to lose every game for the rest of the season...
