It's no mistake, he had made his own arrangements - he's even had his favourite Land Rover modified to carry his coffin.

I think he means that the Prince did not actually insist on 3 pm on a Saturday . The establishment probably picked Saturday as it's not a normal working day and to allow the Hoi poloi to watch on tele .Obviously he didn't choose the ****ing date
