Good thinking Glen, scour the on line press for an ex pro’s view on a City possible transfer and cut and paste it around your inane ramblings. https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/harry-wilson-wont-play-liverpool-20259819
One for the future............... https://www.footballinsider247.com/...bournemouth-brentford-in-race-to-sign-kayode/ "Joshua Akinola Ogunfaolu-Kayode (born 4 May 2000) is an Irish professional footballer....." Good old Irish name that...........
Kayode has scored six times in 27 League Two games this season for Carlisle. Not setting the lights on fire is he?
What is Mick's network like? Just wondering if he has the inside track on anything or if he's just shopping in the open market. Would be nice if we got a flyer in the transfer market and a full pre-season. Hoping for low volume but decent quality signings rather than signing numbers hoping for a diamond in the rough. I think the speculation should be on the academy products not signings from outside the club.
This is so right. When we have young players like Rubin Colwill, Keiran Evans, Isaak Davies champing at the bit, let alone Watters and Harris on the bench, why go out and buy another 20 year old "maybe" player. We should have confidence in our own products and bring them through, otherwise we might as well throw the towel in on the academy. Maybe some ready made product in midfield should be brought in at the right price, but we have a decent starting point in Sang.
3 or 4 established players should be it, moving one or two on. Depending on the formation MM wants to play, a target man to back up Kiefer, a ball playing CM or two and a wide man. Dont think we should rely on Vassel getting fit. We could do with a Kav type player to boss and bring energy to the midfield as a priority. The rest should be our own tyros.
I’d be quite content to have an experimental season with the youngsters blooded and some new finds like eg Ng- low league but young and experienced. We’ve had enough seasons of this attritional, old fashioned safety first type of football - time to get into the 2020’s and create a dynamic exciting brand.
At 26 he should be in his prime but has played only 19 games since leaving us nearly 2 years ago. His last absence due to a serious ACL injury. While I would love to see him play for us again, he was always a little injury prone while with us and seems to have an affinity with his Spanish club so any return is unlikely.
Thanks chaps. I didn't know about the ACL and hadn't read the WOL thing. Just couldn't understand why a talent like that couldn't get a game anywhere but you've cleared that up for me.

Not blaming him for last night, but I think we should aim higher............ https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/exclusive-cardiff-city-in-talks-with-23-year-old-over-new-deal/
At 5ft 10ins not direct cover for Moore. Would we change style to accommodate him? We haven't for Watters who had a similar goals record. Still shopping at Poundland. But after last night that might be our level. Also, from memory our record with Irish strikers is not good.
